National T20 Cup Starting From 30th September

The National T20 Cup: Starting From 30th September:

The National T20 Cup is Professional Men's T20 domestic tournament. It is a part of the National Domestic season which is played between 6 teams. Since the change in domestic structure of Cricket only 6 teams are playing now. 6 teams named after the provinces.

The 6 teams are:

Baluchistan

Central Punjab

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa 

Northern

Sindh 

Southern Punjab

First match will be played between Northern and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on 30th September at Multan Cricket Stadium. Second match will be played between Southern and Central Punjab this will also be played on the same date at same time at 10:00 am ground is still not finalized for the second game.

Northern are the current champions. Imad Wasim was the captain of the Northern they defeated Baluchistan in the finals which was played in a very beautiful ground Iqbal Stadium in Faisalabad. Haris Sohail is the captain of Baluchistan side. 

Before 6 teams there were more than 10+ teams named after the cities. Cities likes of Lahore Lions, Peshawar Panthers, Karachi Dolphins, Sialkot Stallions champions on the 6 occasions most by any team in a T20 tournament. Sialkot's captain was Shoaib Malik who won 25 consecutives matches as a captain.

Faisalabad Wolves:

Faisalabad won the first ever tournament back in 2005 they defeated Karachi Dolphins in the finals. 

Saeed Ajmal was the man of the match in the finals.

Sialkot Stallions:

Sialkot Stallions champions on the 6 occasions most by any team in a T20 tournament. Sialkot's was won the 4 consecutive tournament from 2006 to 2010 captain was Shoaib Malik who won 25 consecutives matches as a captain for Sialkot stallions

from 2006 to 2010.

Lahore Lions:

Lahore Lions won the tournament 3 times. They also went to India where they defeated Mumbai Indian top IPL team and almost qualify for Semi Finals missed out narrowly.

Khurram Manzoor:

Khurram Manzoor is the leading run scorer in the national T20 Cup. He also scores 5 Hundreds in his T20 career.

Players Drafting: 

In a team there are not only local provincial players but to make all teams on a same page or making same standards of a team there are few players were to the different team from different cities or provinces so that no team can be out of the contest straight away. Like there are not so many players are from Quetta or Baluchistan so some players were added to Baluchistan team so that they can be competitive as well.
