Former Australian Cricketer PSL Regular: Dean Jones Passes Away in Mumbai

Dean Jones Former Australian Cricketer, Coach and Commentator passes away due to cardiac arrest, at the age of 59. His fellow commentator and country men Brett Lee tried to give him CPR unsuccessfully. On Thursday morning he had a breakfast with fellow commentator Brett Lee and Nikhil Chopra. 

Jones suffered a massive heart attack in hotel lobby where he used to stay during commentary stint. It is a sad moment to share the news of the death of Dean due to sudden cardiac arrest," Star India, who host the broadcast of the IPL.

Dean was a very famous all around the globe. He was known for his good nature and he was loved by everyone not only in Australia but all around the world. He was very famous in sub-continent as well. He did a very good work for Pakistan Cricket. He share's the image of Pakistan where ever he goes. 

He was in Mumbai, India as part of  IPL's official broadcaster's commentary panel. He played 52 Test and 164 One Day International. Score's  3631 runs in Tests including 11 centuries. 6063 runs in ODI with 7 centuries and 46 fifties.

He was two times Champions of a PSL with Islamabad United in 2016 and 2018. In 2020 Season he was a coach of Karachi Kings. He is very kind hearted and did some great work for the return of International cricket in Pakistan. 

Karachi Kings head coach is very excited and ready to travel Pakistan for the PSL. In a post on Twitter, Jones said that all of the Karachi Kings players are available to participate in league for remaining matches.
