Umar Gul announces retirement from International cricket. He said he will left cricket after playing this season. Umar Gul was born in 1984 on April 14th. Umar Gul also called as Gul-Dozer because of his lethal reverse swing Yorker's. He has won so many matches for Pakistan through his dangerous bowling and also he has won few matches for Pakistan with the bat as well. Along with Gul Imran Farhat also decided to leave the cricket at the same time.

According, to a reports this duo had offers of coaching but they decided to play in this season. This veteran duo are part of the Baluchistan side.

Umar Gul had been a very consistent fast bowler for Pakistan after Wasim and Waqar. In the presence of Shoaib Akhtar Mohammad Sami Gul made his place in the team with so many consistent performance's. Gul had been one the most dangerous fast bowler use to bowl quick reverse swings. But injury ruined his end of the career he could have been play for another 2 to 3 years but knee injury didn't allow him to play.

Umar Gul made his test debut in Karachi against Bangladesh in 2003. He went on to play another 46 test matches in which he picks up 163 wickets at an average of 34.06. He played his last test match Against South Africa on 2013. 

He made his ODI debut on 23rd April against Zimbabwe he went on to play another 129 games in which he picks up 179 wickets at an average of 29.34. He played his last test match in 2016 on Cardiff stadium against England. 

He made his T20I debut in 2007 World Cup against Kenya at Nairobi(Gym) . He played 60 games in which he picks up 85 wickets. He played his last T20I in 2016 against New Zealand.

Umar Gul is also in favor of departmental cricket. He also have fear of players leaving Cricket to overcome their financial crisis. He said if there is no mechanism for the players financial issue in this new domestic structure so brings back departments.
