Central Punjab's Abdullah Shafique scores hundred on T20 debut. He becomes the first Pakistan to scores hundred on debut. He also scores hundred on debut in First class cricket as well. His hundred helps Central Punjab to beat Southern Punjab by 7 wickets. The knocked helped him wins the man of the match award.
Cricketing Family:
Cricket is in his blood as his father also Shafique Ahmed also played first class cricket for Pakistan. Along with that his uncle Arshad Ali, played for UAE.
Background:
The 20 Year old cricketer belongs to Sialkot. he trained there at the Aamir Waseem cricket academy and represented Sialkot at U16s and U19s levels. Abdullah gained attention all over the cricketing world and everyone praising the youngster.
Impressive Start:
He played his first innings with Kamran Akmal, twice his age. He completely over outshone himself in this innings and chased down the target of 201. Starts with hat-tricks of boundaries in the first over, he smacked 11 fours and 4 sixes in his innings. Abdullah became the young sensation in a cricket becomes the only second player in cricket history to who scores hundred on First class and T20 debut.
